Running like a true Seattlelite
Anything for a cancer cure, right? If you had told me yesterday that I would run in the snow, I would have called you foolish. Well, it looks like I’m the fool now. The weather can never be too awful to not run for a cancer cure. This morning I ran the Nike+ Women’s Half

I am committed to finding a cancer cure! This new year brings me at least FOUR different half marathons that will benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). Woohoo! Shorty and I entered in another 5K race. This time Shorty ran with Flashy, her pom-chi friend, and Leeza, the Puerto Rican dachsund. The rain didn’t stop the dogs from pulling throughout the course and sprinting across the finish line. Shorty wore her one of a kind “Go Team” doggie rain coat. Lined with purple
