Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my running blog. My name is Carol and I’ve created this blog to tell the world about why I run. Sure fitness is one of the benefits of running, but that is not the MAIN reason why I run. I run to help find a cure for cancer. Enough is enough.
I run so that one day we never have to say good bye to a loved one due to cancer.
I’m not a super genius scientist and I have no idea how to destroy cancer cells. But what I can do is fundraise to help the scientists find a cure and to help the patients who have to suffer with cancer.
In April, I joined the Washington-Alaska Team in Training team. Being a part of TNT and fundraising for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) has been an amazing experience. Through TNT, I have made friends who believe in the cause and who see the light at the end of the tunnel. There will be a cure. We will find that cure.
